VXi BlueParrott™ TalkPro B1000-GTX USB Wireless System

The VXi TalkPro range of noise cancelling headsets are noted for high accuracy and consistent performance with speech recognition applications. The new BlueParrott™ B1000 now provides wire free connection to your computer. Unlike other Bluetooth headsets, meant for telephony, the TalkPro B10-GTX's adjustable boom design ensures proper microphone positioning and consistent speech recognition performance. Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9 now allows you to create a user specifically for Bluetooth Microphones (Bluetooth 8Khz), further improving accuracy.

The system provides crystal clear communication for Speech Recognition or Internet Telephony up to 23 m (75') from the base station (10 m for other Bluetooth devices). The USB connection uses standard Windows drivers and Bluetooth pairing simply involves depressing one button on the base station and one on the headset.

This unit is recommended for users in a fixed location as the base station requires mains power. For mobile users the BlueParrott TalkPro B150 GTX or VXI BlueParrott TalkPro B150-GTX Wireless Headset plus XoVox Adapter is recommended.

Buddy Gooseneck USB Desktop Microphone

This is an ideal microphone for those who cannot, or don't wish to use a headset microphone. The desktop Gooseneck has a 35 cm (14") flexible 'neck' that can be flexed to an appropriate position for dictation and the sensitive microphone, using the popular Emkay NR series element (as in the 3185 headset), can be used at a distance of 5 - 15 cm (2" to 6").

It stands on a very stable weighted base housing the Full Duplex USB, the mute switch and indicator LEDs for mute (yellow) and active (green)..

Buddy Gooseneck Desktop Microphone with 'G' Clamp

Buddy Desktop Microphone on a 'gooseneck' flexible 36" arm - the ideal solution for anyone who prefers not to wear a headset. A sensitive microphone that can be used from 6" to 12" away from the end of the microphone.

Includes a clamp, which can be used to clamp the Gooseneck Microphone to a surface (such as a table) up to 2.25" (5.5cm) thickness.

Note: A USB version of the Buddy Gooseneck microphone is also available. This option requires your computer to have an available USB interface and to be running Windows® 98 Second Edition or later.

Acoustic Magic Voice Tracker™ Array Microphone

The Acoustic Magic Voice Tracker™ is a professional quality desktop array microphone allowing freedom of movement to users of speech recognition products. The Voice Tracker™ contains eight microphone elements and is the only digital array microphone on the market that can scan a full 180º.

It emits a "listening beam" that acts as an acoustic searchlight to steer towards the speaker while spatially filtering background noise. For speech recognition a 90º scanning range is used.

The Voice Tracker™ is also ideal for teleconferencing applications using its 180º scanning range. In this configuration the microphone will automatically switch between individuals as they speak.

Approved by ScanSoft® for use with Dragon NaturallySpeaking® and by IBM for ViaVoice™ products in quiet room environments only.

Buddy USB 5G Audio Adapter

This is a third generation Full Duplex USB Adapter specially designed for speech recognition. It uses the latest USB circuitry to give a very low internal noise and a high Signal-to-Noise ratio.

The Buddy USB 5G is Plug and Play and uses standard Windows® drivers - so there is no special software required. The device is extremely small (30mm x 75mm) with a 170mm cable.

It can be used with any of the headset and handheld microphones (but not the Voice Tracker™). A further major advantage is that this USB device does not require auxiliary power with popular microphones.

This adapter has full duplex capabilities (microphone as well as speaker); you will experience the ultimate in both input and output performance.

Note: the Buddy USB 3G replaces the Buddy USB FD™.
